Usage Guide

  • Assemble all parts of the siphon pump and ensure the hose is securely connected. Place one end of the tube into the aquarium and the other into a bucket or sink for draining water.
  • Squeeze or manually pump the bulb several times until water starts to flow automatically. Make sure the outlet end is lower than the tank to maintain continuous suction.
  • Move the intake tube gently through the gravel or sand to suck up waste, uneaten food, and fish waste without disturbing the substrate too much.
  • Control the water flow by lifting or lowering the siphon tube. Stop siphoning once you’ve removed the desired amount of water or cleaned the tank area thoroughly.
  • Once cleaning is done, remove the siphon, discard the dirty water, and refill the aquarium with clean, treated water at a similar temperature.
